Yawnfest.

Bah, I am so behind on my blogging. I'm going to tackle the last week or so in one post so I can blog about this weekend later. I guess the one good thing about having a not-so-exciting couple of weeks is that it makes a recap post a little easier!

Okay, so the highlights ...

Last week, we saw Radiohead at the Hollywood Bowl with Jackie and PJ! Josh took the Metro downtown and met up with me after work. Sadly, he left his new phone on the train, and once he had realized it, the train had already rocketed through the tunnel. Sad. Good thing we have phone insurance, I guess.

The Bowl was packed. I almost felt old. People there were in their concert gear: black, ripped tights, piercings, etc. I was in my work gear wondering if these people have jobs (such a crotchety old lady I've become). Also, I thought the crowd would be a bit older since the band has been popular for over a decade, but I guess I thought wrong. Maybe all the kids my age were still at work.

Unfortunately, no cameras were allowed. (I really have to get a camera phone next time for situations like this.)

The show was awesome. Lived up to my expectations, for sure. They played a good mix of the old and new stuff, but they didn't play "Creep," which was a little weird.

The rest of the week was filled with work (so busy right now) and catching the recaps of the Democratic National Convention at night.

Labor Day Weekend was a snoozer. I worked all day Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, I procrastinated and Josh and I caught up on Season Two of Heroes. Not as good as Season One, but still. Good. I'm excited for all the fall TV to start. (I need to remember to set up my DVR ...)

This week was busy, busy, busy. I am on a new class action, so there is a ton to do. My department is just slammed right now, which given the state of the economy, is a good thing. I have that overwhelmed feeling like I am going to miss something or drop the ball, but at least we are busy. The same cannot be said for some of my other lawyer friends.

So, it's been work, work, work, come home, and watch recaps of the Republican National Convention while I'm logged in doing some last minute work.

I told you. My life has been boring these past couple of weeks. If you didn't believe me before and you actually made it to the end of this snoozer of a post, then you probably believe me now.

This weekend, though, should lend to more exciting posting. Missy's wedding (my sister's bff) is Sunday, and the Rehearsal Dinner is tonight. Bug is the Maid of Honor, and I am officiating. Should be interesting. More on that later. For now, I have to finish an angry letter to opposing counsel and get ready for the rehearsal...

I'm still planning on wearing my rubber boots around you and staying 5 feet away at all times from here on out. Good luck with the wedding.

Ooooh! Good luck with the wedding! Busy is better than not busy in this economy.
